Molí dels Murris river pool and waterfall

• Opinion: This is the most beautiful river pool in the village. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful space you will find it all there. You can take a walk over the small waterfall where you can find small paths among the trees. Peaceful space.

La Plana river pool

• Location: Les Planes d’Hostoles
• Distance: 1 km from the village
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion: Our childhood river pool. The most beautiful is all the way to the river pool. You can see vegetable patches from the people of the village all along the path. Once there we cross a small wood bridge and find the small waterfall of La Pedrera d’en Biel.

• Distance: 0,8 km from Colònia Paulí
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion: Many years ago people got wood and stone from this zone. The path leads to La Plana river pool and then, following the river, we reach La Pedrera d’en Biel.

La Foradada river pool and waterfall

• Location: Santa Maria de Corcó
• Distance: 2,2 km from the parking
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion For sure instagramers already know this small waterfall. A photogenic river pool. It is worth visiting the zone. I you have enough time, visit Rupit and Salt del Sallent (a great waterfall with great views). It is really awesome!! After the route you can get the road towards El Far and La Garrotxa.

• Distance: 38 km from Les Planes d’Hostoles
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion: We have to drive from Les Planes to Rupit. Once there, the way to Salt de Sallent is a walk. An alternative route would be to go to Sant Martí Sacalm by car or by mountain bike and, once there, there is a beautiful path that leads to Salt de Sallent.

Santa Margarida volcano

• Location: Santa Pau
• Distance: 3,01 km from the parking
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion: A forced visit. You must have the photo of the crater with the hermitage on it. At the beginning the walk is rather steep but don’t you worry, it is worth it!!

Croscat volcano

• Location: Olot/Santa Pau
• Distance: 2,34 km from the parking
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion: Awesome, you have to visit this volcano and its clay.

Montsacopa volcano

• Location: Olot
• Distance: 0,6 km from the city
• Difficulty: Easy
• Opinion: We can visit the city of Olot and reach the top of the city, in the volcano Montsacopa, and take some photos of the views.

Puig Rodó volcano

• Location: Les Preses
• Distance: 6 km from the parking zone of Àrea de Xenacs
• Difficulty: medium
• Opinion: There is few information on Wikipedia but we can assure you will like its views. We can drive 9 km from Les Preses and reach the barbecue at the end of the small road. Once there we have two options: we can go left to the a lookout where you can see the whole valley. There is also a picnic zone and some swings for children. The second option is to go right and have a 35-40’ walk towards Puig Rodó lookout. A fantastic one that let you see the volcanic zone of la Garrotxa. It is worth it!!
